What is Cinetorium?

The word Cinetorium incorporates the words cinema and auditorium into one. The Cinetorium is simply that, a hybrid theatre designed to produce and even showcase both films and live entertainment, including singing, dancing, comic skits, magic, and anything to do with performing arts.

The Cinetorium, however, is no ordinary theatre or studio. According to his own religious belief, founder Jason Wingate surrendered his vision of the hybrid theatre to Jesus in 2013, after initially coming up with the concept in 2004. Since then, Cinetorium has been seen as a place of creative sanctuary and redemption. A place where the young and young at heart can express themselves creatively through film and music, as well as find refuge in times of darkness. ​

A typical Cinetorium presentation is known as a Public Event, a combination of cinematography and a digital surround-sound track, synchronised with live performances, stage lighting, and sound effects. Whether shown as an anthology or one complete full-length storyline, Public Events are designed to incorporate the Universal Arc, bringing all the stories and characters to life which shape the worlds of Cinetorium's universe.

While the Cinetorium is mainly designed to produce and showcase Public Events, we also cater for the productions and showcasing of our selected artists, bands, and production groups.

Cinetorium's mission is to create a safe and sacred environment, where young filmmakers and musicians alike can produce their own content and showcase them to the public for entertainment. In doing so, Cinetorium hopes to bring our members and artists to the Light— a positive energy source, connecting people to the Holy Spirit in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
